19 weeks 3 days Yay! Nearly halfway!
Do you think Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are planning on taking a much-needed break from the spotlight by heading to Nepal for a mission trip? "First Ultrasound". In interviews with Fox News, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar confirmed that Josh, now 27, "was curious about girls" and had fondled his sisters "over their clothes while they were asleep". Happy 2 month birthday, Israel!
Dr. Gary Strauss, Professor Emeritus of Psychology at La Mirada, California's Rosemead School of Psychology told Christian Examiner that the ongoing publicity about the Duggar case also can have a positive or negative for other victims of sexual abuse depending on the family. They said they were more devastated by the media revelation of the scandal than they were by the molestation, because they had forgiven Josh years ago.
The Duggar Family sexual abuse scandal continues to get darker with every day that passes.
Reports of the investigation come in the wake of the Duggar parents’ admission that their son, Josh Duggar, inappropriately touched four of his sisters when he was 14.
In another part of the interview, Jill claimed that her parents did a great job raising their 19 kids. I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions.
"He was very sly, the girls didn't catch on", said Seewald, who was aged around nine at the time.
During the Fox interview, Jessa and Jill revealed how they were outraged and distraught over the police report being published. This move could help save their income while responding to what their audiences no longer want to see. "How do they have a right to do this?" We feel like our story was not being told. The Duggars have appeared on TV recently in order to give their side of the story, but they never mentioned the investigation, or the allegations released on Wednesday that they previously refused to cooperate.
"I called my husband in tears", Dillard said.
The Duggars said that in 2002 and 2003, when he was 14 and 15, Josh had groped the girls while they slept (the girls slept in the same room), and that he did this a couple of times even after his first confession to his parents.
"I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist", Jessa Seewald, one of those sisters, told Kelly. "And my dad explained to the United States, he said you know there's a difference between forgiveness and trust".
This issue has definitely become a political one as there are those who disapprove of Josh’s actions and are asking further investigation on the matter.
