Pokemon Go raises users' security, safety concerns

Some have criticized the real-world locations to which the game sends players to battle virtual monsters.
The viral game which is talking about across the world is the released Pokemon Go game which is the first Nintendo's smartphone game. even though technically it has only launched in US, Australia and New Zealand.
Pokemon Go is a free-to-play game, but it does offer microtransactions-and those have reportedly been quite lucrative.
Cook, a mom, said that part of the game's appeal for her was "the thrill of the hunt" and the fun of capturing rare Pokemon. In India, several people have tried to play the game but in the Mumbai area it is showing only one Pokemon and it is not working properly.
Proofpoint recently discovered an infected version of Pokemon Go that has the ability to give hackers access to a user's phone. It allows the side-loading of an app from the raw Android application package (APK) files without having the system check the program. In addition, while Pokemon GO doesn't seem to use a lot of data in the background, you can be extra cautious and disable the app's background data options from the settings menu. We have had access to Pokemon GO for barely a week, and it's already captured the attention, minds, and phones of more than 65 million American users.
The game was created by developer Niantic and the Pokemon Company - although Nintendo does own stakes in each organization. According to the media reports, Pokemon Go has received a spectacular response in the countries where it has been officially released, resulting in crashing the game's servers. So it is better to wait for the official release.
