The official Pokemon GO Twitter account has just sent out a tweet, announcing the app's official release in the United Kingdom for both the Apple iOS App Store and the Google Play store for Android. As of today, German users can download the game through Apple's App Store or the Google Play store.
The NSPCC said it is anxious that offenders could target unsuspecting children by using the app's geolocation feature and the charity's chief executive Peter Wanless has written to developer Niantic.

Pokemon GO has been a smash hit for Nintendo. There have been reports about Pokemon Go being infected with malware and supplied on third-party websites. The game involves exploring the real world via "augmented reality" to collect Pokemon you can upgrade and battle.
