While addressing the crowd in Cleveland on July 18, Donald Trump's wife discussed values like "you work hard for what you want in life" and "your word is your bond and you do what you say and you keep your promise".
Though there were several similarities, it was one section of her speech that gained A LOT of attention as Trump's words were so incredibly similar to Michelle's that there's nearly no way she didn't rip the First Lady off! The speech was praised by hacks on both sides of the aisle (and the middle), though there might unintentionally be a reason for that: As first pointed out by journalist Jarrett Hill, Melania-or more likely her speechwriters-appears to have lifted at least one crucial section of her speech from the one Michelle Obama gave at the 2008 Democratic National Convention.
After recognizing how similar the speeches are, the Internet has totally blown up with people bashing Melania Trump, 46, for plagiarizing the current First Lady, but the Trump campaign has denied the accusations.
Christie, a prominent Trump supporter who was set to speak at the convention later Tuesday night, predicted no one would be talking about the issue after Tuesday. Her speech and demeanor were absolutely incredible. "Because we want our children in this nation to know that the only limit to your achievements is the strength of your dreams and your willingness to work for them".
"I thought Melania Trump hit it out of the park when she talked about her love of family, the feeling of an immigrant that comes to this country and succeeds", Manafort said this morning in an interview with CNN. The statement didn't mention Mrs. Obama.
"In writing her handsome speech, Melania's team of writers took notes on her life's inspirations, and in some instances included fragments that reflected her own thinking", Jason Miller, Trump's senior communications advisor, said in a statement. She added that she had "a little help".
Other speakers include former presidential candidate Ben Carson, Donald Trump Jr., Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge and Chris Cox, executive director of the NRA Institute for Legislative Action.
"The only filter is himself", she said. This kindness is not always noted, but it is there for all to see.
Please explain to us how Melania proving she lacks originality and is a lazy liar for saying she wrote her speech threatening Hillary in ANY way?
