When it rains it pours.
Former NFL baller Ed Hartwell had been looking for an exit strategy from his shotgun marriage to former "Cosby Show" star Keshia Knight Pulliam because their inability to see eye-to-eye on who would run the household, a "source" told PEOPLE. Did we mention Pulliam recently announced she's expecting?
"I don't know if it's the hormones ... no, it's all of it, because it's fresh", Pulliam said to Entertainment Tonight as she choked back tears.
"What I learned about her is that if she wants something, she wants it now and she's going to go get it. That's one of the reasons we actually stopped having sex.""That's not an issue".
"I can't say she's been unfaithful. This is his daughter".
TMZ reports that Pulliam has petitioned to keep Ed's hands off of all her assets, both before and after their marriage.
"Early on in my marriage when I was faced with this [cheating by Hartwell], I was ready to leave", the 37-year-old actress said.
She continued, "The part that hurt me the most when he filed for divorce was that he had asked me to give him another chance, and I was willing to do that and forgive him, for our family".
"He left like it was any other day, said goodbye, I was still asleep in bed", she said. Not believing him the first time.
Hartwell added that his wife fled to visit a spiritualist and "started going out with friends all the time and not telling me when she was coming home or sometimes not coming home at all". "That's something she really did want to do". The former linebacker is already a father. "I think we moved too fast, '" he told us, "'Our lives and wants are headed two different directions'".
Keshia said that starting a family was something she and Ed Hartwell had set their sights on.
During the tell-all, Hartwell confessed that he still "cared" for his ex, whom he had dated for four years. Oddly enough, on a morning where she thought things were flowing as normal, that's when Hartwell dropped the bombshell. "This is about my character - my integrity as a woman being attacked - and that's not OK". "That's something she really did want to do". "He texted me saying: 'Hey, can I talk to you for a moment, ' ..."
