This was confirmed by a TV commercial released by Google during the season premiere of the popular show "The Big Bang Theory". The VR framework is said to come to not only a multitude of existing and upcoming smartphones but maybe even to a completely new standalone VR headset developed by Google.
Google has announced that it will launch new smartphones on 5 October.
The new Nexus 6P phone is displayed during a Google media event on September 29, 2015 in San Francisco, California. However, this year's design for the models has been rumoured to be largely conceptualised by Google itself. The phones are expected to lose the Nexus nomenclature and come under the Pixel line of devices. Marlin has a 5.5-inch Quad HD display and runs on the Snapdragon 821 and has an internal memory storage of 128GB storage space. In all likelihood, Google will reveal a 5-inch Pixel phone and 5.5-inch Pixel XL, along with some other hardware goodies.
Other Google products that might make an appearance in the event include a possibly new Pixel tablet and a 4K capable Chromecast.
We are fairly certain that HTC will be making the upcoming google devices but maybe Google has involved itself more on the production this time around. It'll be live streamed on Google's favorite video site, YouTube. And according to a Reuters report earlier this month, the company has also "suspended" Project Ara - its plan to build a modular smartphone with interchangeable components.
