First and foremost is a return home after a four-week stretch of travel (two road preseason games and a pair of games on the road to start the regular season).
Green Bay's last two possessions were tough to swallow, though. What is it? When did it start? The quarterback hasn't thrown for more than 300 yards in 11 games; eight of those contests he's tossed fewer than 250 yards (including both games in 2016). This time Green Bay didn't recover. Their offense hasn't been the same since. Green Bay's offense has been barely recognizable since. We have a game next week at home, and then a bye and then three more at home.
An 18-16 win in Week 10 last season ended Detroit's 24-year losing streak in Green Bay. The combined record of the teams behind them was 5-19 heading into the Monday night game between Chicago and Philadelphia.
But there were issues bubbling under the surface in that last playoff loss, the kind you overlook when an MVP quarterback faces a stout defense.
Offensively, the Packers are averaging 20.5 points and 278.5 total yards (189.5 in passing and 89.0 yards in rushing) per game. The Jags very much hung around in that game and didn't get any help from the officials.

The Packers in particular struggled last week, falling to the Minnesota Vikings 17-14. Twice in the final 10 minutes, Green Bay got the ball with a chance to tie or go ahead. It's not common for the Packers, let alone Rodgers, to fumble the ball that much.
Rodgers, who hasn't hit the 100 mark for passer rating in 14 straight games, doesn't feel like the team is in panic mode.
"I know he's got some things going on in the middle of the week, but I don't really have an update as far as (his) progress", McCarthy said. In him prime I thought Rodgers was the most accurate quarterback I ever saw. The touchdowns are down. Again, they were aided by a pass interference call on Waynes - this time for 28 yards. The wins are down. Two seasons later, the teams began a yearly series.
With Shields out, second-year player Damarious Randall was the Packers' top cornerback Sunday night. We've got to find a way to make the plays that are there.
How does he bounce back after a poor game? . The Packers won, 27-23. Perhaps Rodgers is being more reckless, a result of feeling he has to do it alone and/or watching Brett Favre do it for three years.
Earlier on Wednesday, coach Mike McCarthy expressed an unwavering support of his quarterback, who uncharacteristically ranks near the bottom of the National Football League in completion percentage (30th), yards per attempt (31st) and passer rating (21st).
"There needs to be a separation between what you guys think about us and what we feel about ourselves", Rodgers said. The Packers have two options.
"It's a process. And he's no different than any other player", McCarthy said. Rodgers and McCarthy have never been particularly chummy and it got to the point a year ago where their iciness had to be addressed with interviews through gritted teeth about how a little tension never hurt anyone.
The Packers' offense has under-performed through the early part of the season, but their defense has played well. Green Bay's 96 wins over the Lions are the most the Packers have against any team, according to Packers.com. "We were moving the ball and we have to convert there".
McCarthy and Rodgers are partners in determining what plays are run.
Bradford finished 22-of-31 for 286 yards and two TDs for a 121.2 passer rating in his Minnesota debut.
