The Pakistani Inter-services public relations on its part has not mentioned a single death among members of various anti-Indian organizations whose members the Indian forces set out to target.

Indian statements and actions were aimed to deflect the global community's attention from the situation in the IHK. White House spokesman Josh Earnest, when asked about the strike, said: "The US is firmly committed to our partnership with India and to our joint efforts to combat terrorism". As many as 20,000 residents from villages in Jammu have been evacuated while 200,000 have left Punjab, which also shares a border with Pakistan.
Pakistan, meanwhile, held an emergency cabinet meeting on Friday to address the situation. Both countries have already fought three wars, two over Kashmir.
Russian Federation on Friday voiced concern at the "aggravation" in the situation along the Line of Control between India and Pakistan and asked Islamabad to take effective steps to stop the activities of terror groups on its territory.
The operation started around Wednesday afternoon when India's soldiers and para-commandos boarded a chopper in northern India which flew towards the bases along the LoC. The same are circulating on social media. Well, considering the nature of the strike, there might not be any videos of the action and expecting Pakistan to acknowledge the damage is pointless.
"That such terrorist groups continue to operate within Pakistan is unacceptable, and we will work within Congress to pressure Pakistan to end any association with these terrorist groups targeting India, put a stop to their cross-border incursions, and take active and immediate steps to rein in homegrown terrorists", they wrote.
The de facto border in Kashmir, where Indian and Pakistan troops stand guard, was described as "the most risky place on Earth" as far back as 1994 by William E Burrows and Robert Windrem in their book "Critical Mass: The unsafe Race for Superweapons in a fragmenting World".
