The Bengals play the Patriots next week, but following that game will be a divisional game at home against the Browns and a London trip (technically a home game) to play the Redskins.
The Cowboys are 3-1 after beating the San Francisco 49ers 24-17 last Sunday.
The Bengals are off to a 2-2 start following a 22-7 win over the Dolphins last week.
After averaging 26.2 points per game a year ago, the Bengals have not scored more than 23 in 2016. Any chance Prescott remains the starter even after Romo is healthy and cleared to play?
Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals fell flat in their quarterback's pseudo homecoming to Texas. Uzomah has 11 catches for 144 yards and no touchdowns in four games this season.
In what was called by all as a "measuring stick" type of game, the Dallas Cowboys proved their mettle by beating the playoff-perennial Cincinnati Bengals. "Everybody has got to play better, including me".
That is the approach Dallas Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones took after another strong performance by rookie Dak Prescott in place of injured franchise quarterback Tony Romo. The two did manage to practice all week and were playing in the game, but Dallas was going to try to give them some extra snaps off with Wilber.
"They are really the heart of this offense", Prescott said. "You saw that speed take care of itself out there".
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver James Wright is inactive for today's game against Dallas, opening the door for rookie Cody Core to make his National Football League debut.
"It's just uncharacteristic, and quite honestly I was surprised how the game came out".
While Elliott sparkled in his one preseason game, running over Seattle safety Kam Chancellor on one play, his regular-season debut was rough.
Dak Prescott continued to impress, passing for 227 yards, one touchdown and rushing for another.
Meanwhile, defensive lineman Calais Campbell said, "We've been saying all week it just starts with one". Terrance Williams contributed 44 yards and a touchdown in four catches.
Meanwhile, the Bengals didn't get a lot of pressure on the Cowboys rookie quarterback, allowing him to remain calm and poised in the pocket.
Prescott threw for a touchdown and ran for another. Those were points of emphasis this week for a team piling up yards but not points. Cowboys K Dan Bailey is struggling with a sore back as well. Cincinnati should be able to keep Elliott from having a big game, which will force Prescott to have to beat a veteran secondary.
PURPLE POWER: Dalton, who grew up in Houston, said he expected as many as a couple of dozen family members and friends.
The Cowboys said Bryant could miss up to three weeks with the injury. If the Bengals don't they could face their worst loss of the year yet.
