Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris says manager Mauricio Pochettino is driving a winning mentality through the club.
"We try to have options, to sometimes play deeper and to counter attack".
"We try to have a lot of risk in our game, trying to play as high up as we can on the pitch, putting pressure, as we did especially in the first half against City".
Tottenham finished in third place in the Premier League table last season despite challenging Leicester City for the Premier League title for most of the campaign. "For us, we need to be clever", Pochettino said to the Tottenham official website.
Sergio Aguero hit the post in the second half but otherwise struggled for his usual influence and Tottenham have now conceded only three times in their opening seven league matches.
He added that he believes the team have been "improving every week, every month" and even though the "team is still young, there is a big appetite here, we are all hungry to get great performances".
"Football is always about spirit and team performance and this was the flawless example".
The Reds are now fourth in the table, just two points behind Man City after winning five league games out of seven and drawing with Spurs earlier in the season.
"Of course you have to learn why they were better".
Speaking on his Sky Sports podcast, Neville said: "Not every team will be able to achieve what Celtic are able to with their atmosphere at Celtic Park and what Tottenham can do with their incredible energy levels".
"I think it was a really exciting game, both teams played in an exciting way and we share a similar philosophy".
"The second balls, we lost a lot in risky positions".
