Sidenote: Although ads show the phones are "exclusive to Verizon", which is the only United States carrier who will sell the phones, the Google Store will sell Pixel phones unlocked for all USA carriers. Both Pixel units feature a USB-C charging port and will have 4GB of RAM as well as 12MP camera rear camera and 8MP front camera.
Google announced its Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones at its October 4 event, revealing the new Android poster boys for all the world to see.

Smart Storage, the feature that automatically removes old, backed-up photos and videos when storage is full, will only be available on Pixel.
In case you are not aware of the hardware specs of the Google Pixel XL, the device has a nice looking design and premium build, being made out of metal and glass.
Even though Nexus 5X and 6P aren't being sold on the Google Store, you will still have some luck when lurking through online retailers such as Amazon, Newegg, and Best Buy.
