The victims of "The Walking Dead's" Negan were finally revealed in the season premiere. After anticipating and wishing for the answer to last season's controversial cliffhanger, TWD fans quickly ate their words as we watched two fan favorite characters be brutally killed.
Even though Negan plans to suppress Rick and control him, Maggie will surely take revenge of Glenn's death in "The Walking Dead" Season 7.
The Walking Dead's Steven Yeun has discussed his role as fan favourite Glenn on the show in a new TV interview. With debates left and right sparking on whether it was his fault that Glenn is now dead, Hurd hinted that it wasn't about the blame, but rather the learning that they take after the fact. "They've never come across anyone like Negan before. They have to learn who Negan is and Negan shows them". From the footage, it seems that an alternate ending (beginning?) saw Negan kill Maggie instead of Abraham, and then kill Glenn as he did in the premiere. Even if it's not real or even if it's not accurate or fair, I think he would shoulder that type of burden. It also makes it look like Carol has been unconscious for awhile, while Morgan was getting to know a brand new group, called The Kingdom, that will end up helping Rick this season on The Walking Dead.
One of the greatest things about '#The Walking Dead' has been the way characters evolved along the way.
"After he [Daryl] punches Negan and he gets dragged away - and he did pull my hair really hard actually", said Reedus while describing the show's stunt work. From now on, nothing will ever be the same, but things must go on! "He hates the world that we're in, and he doesn't lose the fight in him, but he definitely no longer sees anything good in the world, that's for sure".
The Walking Dead continues Sundays on AMC in the United States and Mondays on FOX in the United Kingdom. Thankfully, the fantastic actor knows that there is one place he can always go where he is welcome: Conan.
