Liverpool failed to register a goal for just the third time this season as they were held to a goalless draw by Southampton at St Mary's Stadium on Saturday.

Liverpool also wasted several chances throughout, with Philippe Coutinho scuffing a shot and Firminho toe-poaking another wide when both men were inside the box and expected to score in the second half.
