After its catastrophic connection to an E. coli outbreak late previous year, the chain was accused of wage theft in August by a thousands of employees who said they were required to stay and work after their shifts officially ended. They apparently took the slightly-implausible nutrition stat right on its face and gobbled up the burritos.
Apparently, the misleading menu only listed the calories that corresponded to the chorizo itself, not the entire burrito. Customers have been suspicious about the 300-calorie claim for some time now, and many have gone to Twitter to ask the company about it. With ingredients that include white rice, black beans, salsa and cheese, the website's nutritional calculator shows that, when you add up each item, the calorie count goes far beyond 1,000.

However, Desmond ate the burrito he "felt excessively full and realized the burrito couldn't have been just 300 calories". It would cover anyone who has bought food at Chipotle in the four years leading up to the filing.
The restaurant is calling the chicken and pork wrap a healthy item and says it is about 300 calories.
But now, the company's sales are down about 22 percent compared to the exact quarter previous year.
