As Nintendo has yet to acknowledge Pokemon Sun and Moon's glitch, it's unknown if Nintendo or Game Freak are working on a fix.
Fans should remember that the scan should be used on the islands with the best Pokemon available, and also that an island should be fully unlocked to avoid the risk of it popping up somewhere you haven't reached in the story yet.
The events will take place from 10pm, where "on the ball" fans of the Pokémon videogames series will be able to get their hands on the first copies of the game. You're going to need a Pokemon with either False Swipe or Holdback, moves that will drop an enemy down to just 1HP instead of just knocking it out. They settle behind only Pokemon X and Y, which managed to sell 2.1 million copies in their first weekend on shelves. Next you'll need the Adrenaline Orb, purchasable from Pokemon centres after you've completed Mallow's trial in the Lush Jungle. Imagine 23 November (or even now actually) or at Christmas now opening feverishly your new console and your copy of Pokemon Sun & Moon. These hard-to-find Pokemon with alternate color schemes - a Ponyta with blue flames or a Charizard with black scales, for example - are a collector's dream, and every time a new Pokemon game comes out, players poke and prod to find the best method for capturing them. The item makes it more likely that the enemy will call for help, something that happens more often when the Pokemon's health is low anyway. Shiny Pokemon are rare color variants of standard Pokemon and have appeared in every Pokemon title since Gold and Silver.
