Twitter Suspends 'Pharma Bro' Shkreli After Reporter Harassed

Twitter suspended Martin Shkreli's account on Sunday following harassment of a freelance journalist. Since appearing on Fox Duca has been a target for criticism on social media. On Thursday, Shkreli began his bombardment with an invitation, sending Duca a direct message to ask if she wanted to be his "+1 to the inaug".

The 33-year-old Wu-Tang aficionado had messaged Duca on January 5 after the magazine editor sparred with news host Tucker Carlson on Fox News.

We've reached out to Duca for comment. Her statement that she would rather eat her own organs than go to the inauguration with him was apparently not enough of a no for him.

Shkreli, who is free on five million dollars bail on security fraud charges, also bought the only existing copy of Wu-Tang's album, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin for $2 million dollars.

"I don't know if he's encouraging people to do this, but there's been a small contingent of trolls telling me to sleep with him - but not that politely", she said.

According to the Verge, he then updated his profile picture to one of Duca and her husband but with Shkreli's face edited onto her husband's body.

Before his account was suspended, Shkreli used Twitter to deny that he was engaging in "targeted harassment", saying instead he was dealing with "unrequited love". Eastern after she called out his behavior to Dorsey. "He's an entitled creep and absolutely deserves to have his account suspended", she told BuzzFeed News, "perhaps indefinitely".
