Prices nationally are also more than 39 cents per gallon higher than this time a year ago when the USA average was $1.977.
Rockford's average per-gallon price is $2.38. The state's most expensive fuel is in St. Cloud at two-dollars-32-cents, while Rochester's two-30 is the lowest average.
Georgia motorists were paying much less than the national average Monday, which the surveys pegged at just under $2.37 a gallon, up 2.5-3 cents in a week and more than 17 cents since last month.

In New York State, the average is $2.54 per gallon, up 2 cents from last week.
A gasoline stockpile along with frigid weather on the East Cost and heavy rain on the West Coast should help gasoline prices hold steady this week across the USA, according to GasBuddy senior petroleum analyst Gregg Laskoski.
Motorists will spend $52 billion more on fuel this year than last, an increase of almost 10 percent, GasBuddy estimates.
