Andrew Garfield Opens Up About Ryan Reynolds Kiss ... and Kisses Stephen Colbert!

Days after planting a kiss on Ryan Reynolds at the Globes ceremony, the Silence star explained to Late Show host Stephen Colbert why he was so affectionate toward his tablemate.

If the kiss had occurred between the canon pansexual Deadpool and a love interest played by Garfield, and was infused with some of Deadpool's signature crass humor, then sure, it would've been amusing and people should've laughed.

Like the rest of us, Stephen Colbert wanted to know the reason behind it.

As Ryan Gosling stepped on stage to accept his award, eagle-eyed viewers spotted nominees Reynolds and Garfield locking lips, causing social media to light up. We just didn't know that the pair would end up outdoing it! "Thanks for bringing that up, though", Andrew joked.

Of course Andrew also opened up about the Martin Scorsese flick and talked about preparing for the role, as well as his own religious and spiritual beliefs, but come on!

"What happened? What was the story there?" I just, you know, it doesn't matter, it's how you play the game.

It doesn't matter. It doesn't change anything in my heart.

"And you're very comfortable with kissing another man?"

Stone added, "I'm happy for them too".
