In Nablus, governor Akram Rujoub - quoted by the media in Ramallah - said the protest "is the Palestinian national message to the world to clearly express that any such change by USA politics" means that "there will not be a Palestinian State or national rights for the population".

Qaasim described the American policy towards the Palestinian cause as "a steady policy based on bias towards Israel", urging Trump to re-evaluate his country's policy and seek "justice" for the Palestinian people.
