Starting June 8, 2017, United Airlines will offer daily, non-stop service to Chicago O'Hare International Airport.
The Newark Liberty International Airport is located about 14 miles from Manhattan. "We will continue utilizing the airport as yet another resource to grow jobs and increase business activity in CT".
You will soon be able to travel non-stop from Bradley Airport to San Francisco.
A United executive welcomed the route.
United's departures out of Charles M. Schulz - Sonoma County Airport will be at 6 a.m., 2:05 p.m. and 5:20 p.m.
"United is proud to offer our CT customers a convenient and comfortable travel experience between Hartford and our premier Pacific gateway hub in San Francisco", Aileen Moriarty, United's manager of CT sales, said in a statement.
"Business and leisure travelers now have conveniently timed flights to San Francisco and multiple opportunities to connect passengers to other cities throughout the Western U.S. and beyond", Anthony Toth, United's managing director of sales, said Monday in a statement.
"United has been part of Bradley's network for more than 50 years".
The twice-daily San Francisco service will be operated with a 76-seat Embraer E-175.
The airport has a news conference scheduled for 10:30 regarding what officials are calling "a major change in Springfield air service".
