Scarlett Johansson channeled her inner Ivanka Trump for a sketch on Saturday Night Live this weekend. Complicit, a digital short mock Perfume Ad taking a critical look at Ivanka Trump's role in her father's campaign and Presidency. But the buzziest moment of the politically active ScarJo's screen time was her advertisement for "Complicit", a fragrance for women created by "Ivanka Trump". "Because she's attractive, she's powerful...she's complicit". Pointing at a soldier who is dead, Badlwin's Trump says, "Who here Loves Trump?"
The skit also appears to portray Trump as racist, as he points to a military member played by Leslie Jones and calls her an alien.
But her motives are quickly challenged by the narrator. The reflection? Alec Baldwin's Trump, rubbing color on his own pursed puss.
"She's Ivanka", a voiceover says, as Johansson turns heads in the event.
The Avengers star is the latest A-list actress to lend her talents in lampooning the Trump administration on SNL. "An advocate. A champion for women, like. huh?"
The sketch sees a team of scientists debuting technology that translates a pet's thoughts into words with Scarlett Johansson's character, Helen, using her dog, Max, as the example. "She's loyal. Devoted", the voiceover says, "but probably should've bounced after that whole Access Hollywood bus thing". Ivanka hasn't really gotten reamed too much on SNL up until now and last's night's commercial summed it all up in less than a minute and a half.
