Soccer world mourns the loss of Derry City captain Ryan McBride

The cause of the 27-year-old's death is so far unknown.
His last match was a 4-0 drubbing of Drogheda United in the League of Ireland Premier Division on Saturday.
Cork City tweeted: "Our deepest sympathies to all at Derry City on the sudden passing of Ryan McBride".

The Football Association of Ireland meanwhile announced on Monday that they intend to pay tribute to McBride before the Republic's World Cup qualifier clash with Wales at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Friday. James is devastated by the news, obviously his family is as well.
The West Brom player paid his own tribute to McBride with a post on Instagram, in which he described the centre-half as a "warrior" and a "gentleman".
"I would like to send my honest condolences to his family and friends as well as to the management, players and staff of Derry City Football Club".
And Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill has this week offered his condolences to the family of the Derry City skipper, following his death at the age of 27.
A funeral for the footballer will take place at St Columba's Church in the city on Thursday. Previous year their striker Mark Farren died of a brain tumour at the age of 33.
And current Derry player Josh Daniels lost his mother, sister, brother in law and nephews in the Buncrana pier tragedy in Donegal.
"Our thoughts are with his Ryan's family and all at Derry City at this very sad time".
FAI Director of Competitions Fran Gavin added: "I am shocked at the sad news of Ryan's passing".
Derry were due to play Limerick on Tuesday but the fixture is unlikely to go ahead now.
