But alas, Drake was still too sick to perform his show on Monday night (March 27). The audience had reportedly waited for more than an hour before a tour manager announced the Canadian hip hop star had fallen ill.

Now, they must be finding it hard not to take it personally, as the concert that was due to take place at Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome last night was pulled at the 11th hour.

In the clip, the woman can be heard saying: "I'm really sorry to tell you that tonight's show cannot take place".

Video footage shows fans booing and throwing what appears to be drinks and other items onto the stage.

Late last night AUS time, Drizzy cancelled a planned performance in the city - the third time this year he's been unable to perform as planned in Amsterdam.

Of course, some rumors also emerged on the reason to postpone the show, with some claiming that Drake made this decision because of a weed overdose. On the song Do Not Disturb, Drake warns fans not to expect any new music for the remainder of 2017.

Concert organizer Mojo confirmed that the tickets for Monday's show will be valid on Wednesday. It's the third time Drake's Ziggo Dome show has been postponed since January. Those dates were then rescheduled again to March 27 and 28, and will now be performed March 28 and 29.

Last week Drake released his playlist album More Life, which has broken streaming records and topped the Billboard chart.
