He said Advani and Joshi, in fact, tried to persuade the kar sevaks to come down from top of the structure on December 6, 1992.
Pradhan and BJP leader Om Prakash Sharma were the only two leaders from Thane who had gone to Ayodhya in 1992.
Advani was the BJP president at the time of Babri Masjid's demolition.
The CBI had appealed in the Supreme Court to restore criminal conspiracy charges against BJP supremos Lal Krishna Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti and Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh among others. The court said that there would be no fresh trial in the case.

Kumar's reasoning was countered by the Muslim petitioners in the case, who say there is no ambiguity in the Supreme Court's instructions.
After the meeting, Shah also called up Uma Bharti, directing her to cancel her plans to travel to Ayodhya on Thursday as she had announced soon after the Supreme Court verdict. The plot charges held against Kalyan Singh who is now Governor of Rajasthan; also the charges are dropped against Bal Thackeray and Acharya Giriraj Kishore as both have died.
Meanwhile, a demoralised and fractured opposition has consciously chosen not to step up their attacks against the BJP considering the sensitive nature of the case. "So the situation which was prevailing will continue", he had told newspersons. The daily hearings that the apex court has ordered will revive the tempo of the Ram Janmabhoomi agitation. Jaitley had also virtually ruled out resignation of Bharti from the government following the court order and described as "hypothetical" the possibility of the ruling having any bearing in selection of candidates for presidential and vice presidential polls.
Earlier on Wednesday, following SC's order, RJD chief Lalu Prasad said, "The CBI is under the influence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi". It is courageous of him to take the rap for L.K. Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi.
