They were found in a remote cabin in Northern California.

"Evidence has surfaced that (Elizabeth) became fearful of Cummins' reaction to his suspension and her belief that he would punish her in some way for it", a court filing says. "He needs to be held accountable for kidnapping this girl".
He said Thomas appears to be healthy and unharmed, but authorities are concerned about her emotional and mental state, and will continue to view her as a potential witness and victim in the case.
He was apprehended on a fugitive warrant charging him with aggravated kidnapping and unlawful sexual contact with a minor, law enforcement officials said, and was set to be arraigned on Friday in Yreka.
"And a couple of times he always kept her in the auto and he would be like 'she's asleep, ' you know, and I'm like, 'okay, '" Barry told KOBI. "So (I'll) try to help you out, '" Barry said. Thomas family attorney Jason Whatley said a special police unit "swooped in" on the cabin with "force". However, Tennessee allows minors 13 and older to willingly leave their families, so the state must first prove that Thomas was "unlawfully removed or had her freedom restricted" when Cummins took her from her home. The charge carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation received the tip around 11 p.m. Wednesday and the caller pointed authorities to a cabin in Cecilville, a rural area near the OR border with little to no cell service, TBI Public Information Officer Joshua Devine said.
Investigators also found that days before kidnapping Thomas, Cummins had refilled his prescription for Cialis, a drug used to treat erectile dysfunction, and Cummins bought women's razors and KY Jelly from that Walmart in Oklahoma days after the kidnapping.

The search for the pair spawned Amber alerts in Tennessee and Alabama, a sighting in Oklahoma City and more than 1,500 tips before they were found this week in Siskiyou County, which borders Oregon. He was arrested Thursday after a tip led police to them at a remote cabin in Cecilville, California. Authorities had said last week that Cummins was on blood pressure medication that was about to run out, and told pharmacists and emergency rooms to be on the lookout for him. Though Anthony told the show that Elizabeth's family had no yet spoken with her as of April 21, he said she was expected back in Tennessee later today.
