There have been some hints that the OnePlus 5 might be able to outperform the powerhouse Galaxy S8, according to tests performed on Geekbench.
Around the back there's a 23-megapixel camera, the listing suggests, and the accompanying image shows a dual-lens setup - something that we've heard mentioned in previous leaks about the upcoming smartphone.
Like the OnePlus 5 is turning out to be, it looks like the Galaxy S8 buyers are going to regret their purchase.
We don't have an exact launch date for the OnePlus 5, but we do know that it is fastly approaching. The multi-core score of the OnePlus 5 is much higher than the score of 6375 for the Galaxy S8+, but its single-core score lags behind the score of 3473 for the iPhone 7 Plus and only slightly to the score of 1978 for the Galaxy S8+. OnePlus 5 is expected to pack the best in class specifications but will come at a price that is half of what the other flagships cost. The site lists the OnePlus 5 as having a 5.5-inch QHD display, and featuring a Snapdragon 835 chip at 2.35GHz, making it one of the few devices to run Qualcomm's latest CPU. Out of all these specs, the price is Samsung's real reason to worry.
Previously, the Inquisitr reported that the dual-camera set-up at the back will be arranged horizontally instead of vertically as was widely believed. It is possible that the website is putting together all the information available about the phone on the internet or maybe they have their own source to confirm the details.
OnePlus had recently confirmed that the OnePlus 5 is coming this summer, and the phone's full spec sheet has just surfaced yet again, this time on Geekbuying. Unfortunately, the Chinese smartphone will fall short at this facet as the Samsung flagship is dubbed the most lovely phone to date.
Despite these leaks, there were still many questions surrounding the OnePlus 5.
The inclusion of the home button with the fingerprint scanner will be the OnePlus 5's downfall.
There's no denying the fact that OnePlus 3T (or even the OnePlus 3) is now the best midrange flagship smartphone your money can buy.
