The Bihar senior leader on Friday had dismissed the charges against him saying that no wrongs were done in tendering during his tenure. "Without Lalu and a second rung leadership to oar the event, it would be a poor show", said a party leader. "Subsequently, between 2010 to 2014, this land was further transferred to another company Lara Projects owned by family members of Lalu Yadav", he said. "However, when law enforcing agencies like CBI/ED become captive puppet" of BJP government, acting as "Dirty Tricks Department' to seek revenge against political opponents, it doesn't bode well for democracy", Congress media in-charge Randeep Surjewala said.
Lalu Pradad claimed he had improved the condition of the IRCTC, which he said was formed and made autonomous during the previous BJP-led NDA government.

Meanwhile, Bihar Additional Director General of Police S.K. Singhal said an alert has been issued across the state to prevent any possible political ramification amid the CBI raid on RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.
The FIR was registered on July 5 in connection with alleged favours extended to Sujata Hotels in awarding a contract for the upkeep of the hotels in Ranchi and Puri and receiving premium land as a "quid pro quo", the CBI has alleged.
Lalu Yadav's daughter Misa Bharti's home in Delhi was raided by Enforecment Directorate (ED) on Saturday morning in an alleged money laundering case.
