That same day was also the last time that friends Mark Sturgis, 22, of Pennsburg, and Tom Meo, 21, of Plumstead, were last seen together in Doylestown.
Police in two Bucks County townships say they have reports of missing teens, and they are asking for the public's help in locating them. He said the investigation into the missing men led the authorities to search the Solebury property near Meetinghouse and Aquetong roads.
Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub said in a press conference Monday "it's all hands on deck" as authorities, including the FBI, investigate "all possible leads". Likewise, the auto of one of the men has since turned up, but there was no evidence found at the scene.
Officials are saying little about the mysterious disappearance of four young men in Bucks County, Pa., this week, with investigators specifying the only connection they're aware of between the men is one of friendship.
As the investigation continues into the disappearance of four Pennsylvania men, Action News has learned a auto belonging to one of those men has been found. One of those is a farmland area close to Route 202 in the Solebury Township, around 45 miles north of Philadelphia. "I can't say. We hope they are, but we need to go where the investigation leads us", Weintraub said. He did not have contact with his family or friends and did not show up for work, "all of which is not normal for Jimi", police said in a statement.
Patrick has not been seen or heard from since 6 p.m. Wednesday, Newtown police said. Earlier Monday, the parents of Mark Sturgis confirmed his auto was found at Peddler's Village in Bucks County. The wooded area being searched is also near Peddler's Village.
Patrick went missing on Wednesday, July 5.
Middletown police say Finocchiaro, of the township's Hampton Bridge section, was last seen about 6:30 p.m. Friday entering a vehicle on Hampton Drive. "We're not exactly sure what we're going to find there but we're pretty confident that the investigation is proceeding in the direction that we believe that it would".
Weibtraub said authorities have been told the four men were friends, but investigators are still trying to confirm that. There is a Finocchiaro who wishes a man the Intelligencer identified as Sturgis' father a happy birthday in 2014 on Facebook, but Dean Finocchiaro isn't listed among that person's friends. "He is 5'9", 150 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
