A MI woman pulled out a gun over a school supply shopping dispute at Walmart, police said.
But things got truly out of control when a 51-year-old, whose daughter was one of the women involved in the fracas, pulled out a firearm to protect her.
"One girl was going to buy a notebook, there was one left, some pushing resulted". But a mum in the United States has taken the angst to a whole new level one pulling a gun on several other women during an argument over school supplies. At least they did until her mother pulled out her gun.
"She's a valid (Concealed Pistol License) holder", the detective said.
Novi police told WJBK that the younger woman's mother then pulled out her gun and ordered the other two women to stop attacking her daughter.
Shocking cellphone video shows a group of women fighting inside a Michigan Walmart when one of the women reaches into her purse and pulls out a handgun, sending customers and employees scurrying.
"It was a senseless act of violence all the way around", a police representative said.
Novi police said they need more witnesses to come forward as they work to get surveillance video from the Walmart to get a closer look at what happened.
However, Baetens says prosecutors are still considering charges against all four women. "All the way up to a felonious assault with a firearm, which is a felony", explained Detective Baetens.
People were horrified. There were multiple children right around her when she started waving a loaded gun around. "I don't know how they ended up with it, but in the middle of the confrontation, they ended up with it and they purchased it", Baetens said.
