Subsequently, the driver stopped the auto and was asked by the subedar to talk to Kalra and explain the situation. She then stepped out of her auto and asked Singh and his driver to alight their vehicle.
She blamed him for being an Army personnel. He got down to speak to her but she abused him and also slapped him a couple of times, they said.
Upon enquiry, JCO Mahavir Singh confirmed that while he was on his way towards Delhi's Nizamuddin Railway station on September 9, a woman pulled her auto over in front of their vehicle, forcing them to stop.
Realising that the situation might get out of hand, the woman walked towards her vehicle and sped off. After her arrest, the woman told the cops that she was a graduate in home science and was married to an Army officer's son, from whom she got divorced in 2008.
The army subedar has now submitted a video recording of the incident to the police.
When the truck driver walked up to the vehicle and tried to reason with Kalra, she apparently held him by the collar and slapped him.
