The NES Classic Edition was nearly impossible to find in stores past year.
This new controller is up for pre-order on Amazon starting today, with a retail price of $24.99 which is pretty good considering you're probably not going to find wired options for much cheaper. It includes 30 of the best Super Nintendo games including: Donkey Kong Country, Kirby Super Star, Zelda: A Link To The Past, Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart and a bunch of other classic Nintendo games.
Super Nintendo Edition is available to pre-order now on the GAME website. That means, of course, missing out of the authentic early '90s experience getting up and handling the system proper if you want to change what game you're playing. It also sold out there in just five to ten minutes.
This is still a limited-edition system, and if you haven't gotten your hands on one by now, you might be waiting for the next shipment. Which is nice, because now we can spend our time on more important things, like arguing over which SNES Classic games to play first. You'll need to keep an eye on when stock is available.
SNES Classic owners will be happy to know that Hakchi2, the software used hack into Nintendo's NES Classic system and expand the library works with the new console without any special prerequisites. It comes equipped with 21 classic Nintendo games.

It's unsurprising that it cost more than the NES Classic Mini. You also get a HDMI cable and a power supply.
So the real draw of the Super NES Classic is nostalgia.
