The former king of the high-end cell phone has just introduced the first-ever BlackBerry with no physical keyboard. Since it is a BlackBerry device, let's say that you get an 8 MP front-facing camera for video conferencing.
The BlackBerry Motion is another all-touchscreen handset from the company. With a 5.5-inch screen, the Motion packs a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels inside it.
The BlackBerry Motion is a mid-range handset by most standards since it offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 CPU but backed by a generous 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage. The phone is also backed by a massive 4,000mAh battery that has the capacity to power the phone to make it run for almost 26 hours with mixed usage. It is priced at Dh 1,699 in UAE and 1,699 Riyal in Saudi Arabia. As far as the global release of the smartphone is concerned, TCL has only revealed that it will be made available to select markets. The rear camera on the BlackBerry Motion is similar to what we have seen on the KeyOne.
An official announcement of the new smartphone BlackBerry Motion, for the last two weeks flashed on the teaser and rendering. With Quick Charge 3.0 onboard, the handset can be charged to 50 percent in 40 minutes.
These are all rather standard specs, but a few things things make the Motion stand out: For one, the phone is IP67 rated, meaning that it's both water and dust resistant.
The Motion will run a slightly modified version of stock Android with integration of BlackBerry's renowned security software. This bezel also houses the home button which doubles as a fingerprint scanner.
