"Everyone was getting 2XP since November 3 and up until we made the playlist change late Thursday night, which effectively launched 3XP". Thankfully, Sledgehammer Games is pushing out a few updates which include temporarily disabling dedicated servers.
Call of Duty WW2 multiplayer took a hit recently when the servers wen dedicated to PSP.
"This weekend we rolled out various test solutions in limited markets in order to fully analyse real-world conditions without risking disruption", the post continues. As a result, the developers migrated online play to peer-to-peer (P2P) servers in an effort to provide a more stable experience.
Dedicated servers, meanwhile, are being tested in the USA ahead of a full roll out.
Developers have already begun to test dedicated servers in the United States but one wonders if these "tests" were better suited ahead of the game's release.
