The upcoming NY rapper Lil Peep, once called the "future of emo," has died at the age of only 21-years-old, his representative confirmed to Rolling Stone. The Guardian, citing his rep, Adam Grandmaison, reported Lil Peep was rushed to a hospital following a suspected overdose. I'm good, I'm not sick.
Stennett didn't release information on the cause or location of Ahr's death.
The death was also confirmed by the rapper's record company CEO, Sarah Stennett, CEO of First Access Entertainment, who partnered with Peep in early 2016.

Fans loved him for the candor of his songs which in addition to addressing his struggles with drugs talked about such topics as depression and sexuality.
The New York-based artist, best known for mixing rap and emo styles, released his 2015 debut, LiL PEEP PART ONE, on Soundcloud. Pitchfork called Lil Peep "the future of emo" music and Medium said "it's obvious Peep is going to blow up".
The day of his death, he wrote on Instagram: "When I die You'll love me". "Life didn't do your greatness justice". "I don't express that side of myself on social media". I hope this will be the last time I am placed in such a terrible situation or be forced to inform someone about a friend or loved one's passing for the first time, let alone in a public setting and with no place to grieve privately. The fact that I became Lil Peep helped all that.
"Peep was the nicest person", wrote Dutch dance music producer Marshmello. The title of a Noisey piece succinctly summed up the controversy: "Is Lil Peep's Music Brilliant or Stupid as Shit?"
Bella Thorne, who once dated the musician, tweeted, "Peep you deserved more out of life".
