For insurers and brokers wondering who among your peers made it to the United Kingdom list, here's a hint: two companies from the industry are among the best places to work, as revealed by anonymous reviews voluntarily provided by workers.
A handful of other other Bay Area companies also made Glassdoor's top 100 list.
The Best Places to Work are determined using company reviews shared by USA -based employees between November 1, 2016 and October 22, 2017.
The rankings are compiled through workers' reviews of the company's overall rating, career opportunities, compensation & benefits, culture & values, senior management, work/life balance, recommend to a friend and business outlook. Aside from one stray year (2015) in which it ranked 13, the company has finished no lower than 5 place. Its staff say they are well remunerated, and their expenses cover food, medical treatments, dental care and travel costs.
"What we really see them appreciate most is the company's mission-driven culture, transparent leadership and the fact that their work literally impacts the lives of billions of people worldwide", said Hohman.
Bain & Company was immediately followed by Boston Consulting Group.
On Glassdoor, current and former employees of companies worldwide can share insights and opinions about their work environments by sharing a company review, created to capture a genuine and authentic inside look at what it's like to work at particular jobs and companies.
The brightest minds in business today are well aware of this fact, and, as a result, are making company culture and employee experience a top priority - and they're seeing the payoff firsthand.
