Just a few days back Google announced the Cool Argument Reality Stickers for the Pixel Smartphones, so you can add virtual characters and playful emojis directly into your photos and videos to bring your favorite stories to life. It's up to you! Yet unfortunately, actually kicking off the chat has always been a little clumsy due to the Assistant's awkward "hotword": "OK Google".
Not all devices support the "Hey Google" trigger phrase when their screen is turned off but a comprehensive list of fully compatible handsets has yet to be created. Further, the Assistant is capable of calling and texting the specific contact who the owner asks it to. If you're walking past a landmark in a new city, or looking at a painting in a gallery, you can open up the Assistant on your Pixel and tap on the lens button to get more information about what you're looking at. Soon, Samsung will also join the race with its smart speaker equipped with Bixby.
To beat the competition, Google has consistently been making the Assistant more versatile with various features such as broadcast, navigation suggestions and so on.
Only recently, the search engine giant made Assistant available on the older Android versions.
