Stepping into the more traditional territory, the C6 series of TVs all feature Android TV, 4K HDR displays and a Harman Kardon audio system with an integrated Circular soundbar at the base of the screen. The 6-Series models offer feature HDR Pro Gamma Control and the iPQ Engine, the ability to control zone contrast for better light-to-dark areas, and optimized DCI-P3 color space coverage.
The Dolby Vision HDR-endowed 5-Series in 43-, 49-, 55- and 65-inch screen sizes, meant to address the needs of mainstream consumers, carries some identical features but has an HDR Performance Package set that substitutes HDR Dynamic Contrast - which uses information embedded in Dolby Vision content for heightened picture performance - for the 6-Series' Contrast Control Zone technology, and will offer the 240 Motion technology on the top two screen sizes only.
Others said that Hisense are a struggling brand in the U.S. and Europe and had no choice but to aquire the Toshiba brand in an effort to take on arch rivals TCL and Sharp who have accused Hisense of selling questionable TV products.
TCL has also announced plans to bring to market the Alto soundbar family in both standard and "smart" solutions.

Following the P6 Series in 2017, the novel 5 Series will come into view soon. "With Roku Connect it will make it easy to add great sound to an already great TV".
TCL's rise in popularity has been impressive, but not without reason.
