Following the game, Auburn revealed that McLemore will have surgery Sunday to fix the damage, and Bruce Pearl released the following statement.
McLemore had one point and five rebounds in 13 minutes against the Gamecocks before the injury.

As a team, Auburn grabbed 15 offensive rebounds in the second half and outrebounded the Gamecocks, 30-17, after halftime.
Murray, who was on the floor as McLemore fell to the ground said the injury was so gruesome to him that he "had to turn away immediately" in order to avoid getting sick and nauseas himself.
