Buying the Season 3 Battle Pass now will net players a batch of in-game rewards, including a new Mission Specialist Outfit.
The season 3 Battle Pass will cost you 950 V-Bucks, which you can earn either in Battle Royale and Fortnite's single-player Save the World mode, or acquire through investing around $10/£8 of your own real world money.
Well, the Season 3 Battle Pass for Fortnite Battle Royale brings the usual additional rewards for reaching tiers throughout the season.
Season 2 wraps up today, February 20 with Season 3 beginning immediately afterwards. Epic Games says this is against the layout of the survival video game and should be prevented. Each week, seven challenges will unlock, with the added benefit being that they'll stack, so grabbing the Battle Pass halfway through the season will unlock all of the weekly challenges to date.
Replacing the Season 2 Battle Pass daily challenges, Season 3 will introduce the Weekly Challenges which will be unlocked when you obtain the Fortnite Battle Pass. As with before, you can also progress through the tiers by purchasing them with V-Bucks, which cost 150 of the in-game currency per tier.
An even faster route is for sale in the form of Battle Bundle that consists of the Battle Pass package plus the first 25 reward tiers.
What other Fortnite updates are coming up? Epic Games probably decided that they needed to do something to appease the fans so they made a decision to put a beloved character in the game to say sorry to the gamers for their mistakes with the new update. Acting as a quasi-progression system, players complete challenges to unlock new tiers which then unlock all sorts of new content from character skins, emotes, and more.
The countdown to Season 3 is on and ahead of this new update to the game, we've collected together EVERYTHING you need to know to get you started from day one.
It was announced the players will also see the addition of more limited-time game mode after the success of 50 vs 50 gameplay as well as a Snipers-only mode.
