Ubisoft has big plans for Far Cry 5 post-launch. They mention outfits, weapons, and vehicles you won't be able to get anywhere else. Themed after war, space, and zombie shooters, respectively, Far Cry 5's Season Pass DLCs are certain to provide something for everyone. You'll be given jetpacks and advanced weaponry as you are tasked with thwarting the alien invasion taking place on the planet.
The previous Far Cry games had players in foreign, usually third-world countries, attempting to bring down corrupt and violent gangs, sometimes with the help of a nearby tiger. By simply going up to an arcade booth or poster, players will launch into the Far Cry Arcade to check out any newly featured user-created levels. You'll be able to build maps for singleplayer, 12-player PvP or co-op, and the Arcade will come with a map sorting system that will let you find what you want and follow your favourite creators. Far Cry Arcade will feature 7,000 objects and content from a wealth of the company's wholly-owned franchises including Far Cry 4 (yetis included!), Far Cry Primal (sabertooths and elephants maybe?!), Assassin's Creeds Black Flag and Unity, and even Watch Dogs (maybe we'll get 3D printed guns?). One such mode is Bounty Hunt, which tasks the player with killing a certain character before escaping the level, Hitman-style.
Finally, Ubisoft announced they will be updating Far Cry 3 for the latest generation of hardware It will be called Far Cry 3 Classic Edition, and it will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows in summer 2018 (winter 2018 in the Southern Hemisphere).
