Overall, fans are biting their nails in anticipation for the release of Avengers: Infinity War, which hits theaters on April 27. As exciting as the first full-length trailer was, this one definitely tops it, as all of the most popular Marvel heroes have a moment in the spotlight, from Iron Man to Spider-Man to Star-Lord to Captain America. If the current advanced ticket sales on Avengers: Infinity War are any indication, Infinity War will be on pace to completely smash the numerous records that were just set by Black Panther, and perhaps more. Black Panther got in on the polling action, with 71% of fans saying they saw the film in cinemas, and 60% saying that T'Challa's solo adventure made them even more excited for Infinity War.
That's the message Thanos delivers as he arrives on Earth in search of the final infinity stones that will give him the ultimate power in the universe - the Infinity Gauntlet. We know by now whoever is at the receiving end of the blow is a goner for sure. According to the trailer, it sure does look like it.
As opposed to the last trailer, which introduced us to Thanos and showed us the Avengers rallying to stop him, this trailer explains why he's such a threat. The exchange between Iron Man and Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) as to who has the better plan, and the superhero introductions between Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and Doctor Strange.
Marvel also unveiled the official poster, which, like the trailer, is crowded with superheroes.
The premiere of Infinity War's latest theatrical trailer coincided with the movie's presale tickets going on sale at 9 a.m. ET. "I hope they remember you", Thanos says, before the trailer pans to a weakened Tony Stark.
