The recent stream also touched on the Spring Blossom Fest, which is coming to Monster Hunter World starting on April 6.
And the other, available at the start of the Spring Blossom Fest on April 6th, will unlock materials to craft the Wyvern Ignition Great Sword, the victor of our community Weapon Design Contest.
The DLC is named after its titular character, which is actually a huge wyvern-like monster in-game that is apparently causing a lot of problems for the world of "Monster Hunter World".
The Astera hub will be given a makeover, complete with dressed-up townspeople, fireworks, and a Poogie flower display in the middle of the town. The package will be put available for free to all owners of the game, and it contains some elements and features that will sure grant players many additional hours of hunting joy. Speaking of which, some of the game's weapons have also been tweaked a bit, boosting the damage caused by some and adjusting balance in others. Two event quests will also be made available during the event.
And lastly, a special quest to get the community created Great Sword called "Wyvern Ignition" will be available during the event period.
During the Spring Blossom Fest, Capcom will be introducing the Mega Man voxel style Palico gear. Gamers who take down these monsters receive numerous materials that can be used to create stronger weapons and armor in order to hunt down even more risky monsters.
Great Sword: increased the damage for Charged Slash abilities.
Attacks from allies no longer interrupt you during the carving animation. If you choose to make further edits after you've consumed the free voucher, Capcom will be offering more vouchers for purchase at a later date.
So there we have it.
As revealed just earlier today in a Capcom livestream, the Deviljho monster itself as well as several Deviljho-based quests and rewards will be landing in Monster Hunter World via the game's next update. It's a free download on the PlayStation and Xbox Stores.
