Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Dash, Violet and Jack-Jack are taking their superhero family to the world of LEGO. The latest trailer for The Incredibles 2 can be found here.
Using The Incredibles as the basis for a new LEGO video should be extremely fun, if only to see the aesthetic of the Pixar movies brought into LEGO form.
The game will put special emphasis on teamwork, much like the films, relying on player cooperation to deliver special attacks and construct specific Lego builds. In addition to the campaign based on both movies, IGN has revealed there will be a slew of side quests, missions, and crime bosses, designed by TT Games and Pixar, that players can discover and complete as they unlock various parts of the hub world. How excited are you for the upcoming movie sequel, The Incredibles 2?
"The Incredibles franchise, full of super-powered characters, adventures and teamwork, combined with all of the humor, puzzle-solving elements and unexpected surprises of LEGO games makes for the ideal combination for players", said Tom Stone, the Managing Director of TT Games. Jack-Jack will also be in the game, but it's now unclear if he will be a playable character as well.
While LEGO: The Incredibles won't be a simple rehash of either movies' storyline, it does tease familiar locations such as Municiberg and Nomanisan Island alongside fan-favorite characters like Edna Mode and Frozone. LEGO The Incredibles will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, and PC on June 15, 2018, the same day Incredibles 2 opens in theaters nationwide.
