While the first goal was a classic poacher's finish, the second one will definitely go down in history as one of the goals to remember in the Champions League.
The Portugal captain opened the scoring after just three minutes as he poked Isco's cross home from close range.
Ronaldo earned a standing ovation even from the home fans at the Juventus Stadium after his acrobatic volley beat Gianluigi Buffon in the Champions League quarter-final first leg. Ronaldo responded by putting his hand to his heart, bowing slightly to the crowd. I have to say thank you a lot - grazie! - to all the supporters of Juventus.
Zidane was effusive in his praise.
"Cristiano does things sometimes that only he can do", said Zidane.
The victory underlined Real Madrid's credentials as one of the favourites to win the Champions League, as they now already have one foot in the semi-finals courtesy of the fantastic victory against the in-form Italian giants.
"Ronaldo's overhead kick? My goal in Glasgow was better than his!"
"I'm so happy - thank you to all of them".
Footballing sensation Cristiano Ronaldo's incredible goal in the Champions League quarterfinal with Juventus Football Club SPA had a huge impact on its stocks. "It's attractive. You don't see that everywhere".
Juve fans till then had been booing CR7, but after this genius work, the entire stadium started to applause to what seems as Ronaldo's best goal ever in the Champions league. Not only were the 41,000 odd fans in awe with that moment, even the Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane couldn't believe his eyes.
Are You Not Entertained!?!?!
There was even recognition from a giant of a different sport as three-time National Basketball Association champion James of the Cleveland Cavaliers joined in the praise, telling Ronaldo in a post on Instagram: "that's not even fair". Modric and Kroos dominated midfield, but it was Ronaldo who proved he is still the main man for Real as he bids for a fifth Champions League winner's medal.
Cristiano now has the bicycle kick that he had so craved; the only goal that was missing from his illustrious, extensive collection.
What he's done will be talked about for decades.
"We played nice and of course I'm happy I helped the team, I scored two goals - [it was] a great night". For me he's the best player in history.
