Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have chosen as their official wedding photographer a man with a royal pedigree who has photographed Beyoncé, Julia Roberts and other stars.
Mr Lubomirski, who photographed the pair for their engagement, will be in Berkshire on May 19 to take the official wedding shots, Kensington Palace announced.
Just like their relationship, the wedding of Prince Harry and actress, Meghan Markle is definitely one that is meant to stand out. Alexi Lubomirski also referred back to the engagement photographs he took a year ago, saying that having taken those pictures and now being able to witness the next chapter in their relationship is an honor and a joy for him. In the evening, the Prince of Wales will host a second reception for Harry and Meghan, which will see them continue their celebrations with family and friends. He traveled in Peru as a young man and studied in England, and now lives in NY with his wife and two sons, the statement says.
In an earlier interview with Lubomirski, the photographer said that the initial engagement photos he took for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle actually came out of nowhere, as he was in England when the announcement was made. For their wedding cake, Harry and Meghan have enlisted Claire Ptak, the owner of London-based Violet Bakery, to create a lemon and elderflower cake.
The mother of 3 also stated that she will be taking her 15-year-old son, Jude Anomneze-Collins, as her plus one, after he made a heartfelt plea to attend alongside her.
The couple is due to Wednesday on May 19 in a ceremony that will attract media buzz, as it is accustomed to royal weddings and the debate the union created in the media. He was born in England but moved to Botswana at the age of eight.
He has also published two photography books, donating the proceeds to Concern Worldwide, a charity he supports as an Ambassador, the Palace said.
