Oppo's newly formed sub-brand Realme has launched a new budget smartphone for Indian market dubbed as Realme 1. However, the company has chose to give a few features a miss for the Realme 1 which can be damming for many consumers. The first smartphone, the Realme 1 will launch in Delhi today, and the event will kick off 12:30 PM IST. It sports a 6.1-inch full HD+ (2160x1080p) LCD display with 403 ppi (pixels per an inch) and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is fueled by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC paired with 3/4/6 GB of RAM. The device also has an AI-based computing engine for some awesome picture expereince. Other specs include 13-megapixel and 8-megapixel rear and front cameras, LTE connectivity, a 3,410 mAh battery, and Android 8.1 with Oppo's custom skin on top. At a starting price of Rs 8990, the Realme 1 is cheaper than the likes of Honor 9 Lite and Redmi Note 5. The 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 8,990 while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 13,990. The company has also announced Reliance Jio benefits of up to Rs 4,850 and 5% cashback offers for SBI card holders.
The processor is also one of the key features are the Oppo Realme 1 is powered by the latest Helio P60 chipset that is a 12nm chipset with eight core CPU, 2 Core APU and a clock speed of 2.0Ghz. The Chinese firm's Realme manufacturer is meant to get e-commerce, also will mostly offer smartphones into the Indian childhood costly involving the Rs. 10,000 into Rs. 20,000 scope, although more superior tablets will also be proposed.

As far as the camera hardware is concerned, Realme 1 houses a 13MP snapper with LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), depth effect, which enables users to blur the background of a photo while focusing in on an object in the foreground.
