Is Rage 2 a game you're looking forward to seeing more of?
After that leak, Bethesda started poking fun on Twitter and teasing the unannounced Rage 2 on Twitter via various teaser images and jokes. They also revealed that more information including a gameplay trailer, would be released tomorrow at 3PM BST. Either way, we have the full gameplay trailer to look forward to tomorrow. Although the original Rage released to mixed reviews, the community seems to be excited about the sequel for the time being.
If there's one thing the original Rage got right it was its looks. As far as what game it entails, we're just not sure at this time. Some were games many already expected to see emerging soon, such as Borderlands 3, but one listing took everyone by surprise: RAGE 2, a sequel to the 2011 post-apocalyptic shooter-RPG.
When it comes to exploration, the Rage game world had a lot of potential but it didn't quite live up to it.
In case you haven't heard about them, they have worked on Just Cause series and are known for crafting open world action games. The game was very much in line with the company's portfolio, being a first-person shooter with tight combat and buckets of blood. In the announcement trailer we can see a litany of weaponry from serrated machetes to rocket launchers and guns that appear to unleash electrical energy.
Bethesda chose to play a game and give us some hints by sharing some images on Twitter.
The announcement trailer unfortunately didn't give us much to go on in terms of how Rage 2 would actually play.
