The event will commence with a press conference at 11:00 PM PT / 2:00 PM ET on Saturday, June 9th, where the publisher will show off all of the games it has in store for the coming months.
Anthem is a game that has intrigued shooter fans since it's announcement past year.
That story isn't just for background - the world will indeed change in permanent ways as BioWare continues to support Anthem after launch.
While the release date was perhaps all we needed, there still wasn't a whole lot showing BioWare's signature style on the Destiny-like title - which may prove worrying to some.
Players will also experience massive, world-altering occurrences like Shaper Storms. Paired with the fact at least one announcement leaked, EA's conference got E3 off to a slow-and-steady start: read on for the full list of what the publishing giant announced.
Battlefield 5 will be another big game featured during EA Play, whiel Respawn Entertainment have also teased that one of their new projects will be teased during the show. Each Javelin suit will feature different arrays of weapons and special abilities. The world is shared when out in the open with other players. Anthem has, which could really have been EA's slogan this year, 'No LOOT BOXES!' But it will try to sell you stuff through means unknown. Additionally, players will be able to customize the various suits with cosmetic appearances and gear. Opening and closing the show with clips and gameplay footage, developers announced a release date of February 22, 2019, for the upcoming action RPG.
Expect EA to go hard on Anthem during their presentation this year, most likely with a lengthy demo.
