The Find X flaunts a bezel-less design with a screen-to-body ratio of 93.8 percent. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's flagship chipset - Snapdragon 845 along with 8GB of RAM. India pricing and availability is expected to be announced on July 12, while a China event is scheduled for June 29. The OPPO Find X Automobili Lamborghini Edition Smartphone with 512GB storage and Super VOOC flash charge technology costs Euro 1699 (approx $1999 / Rs 1,34,000).
Like Vivo's recently-revealed Nex S, the Find X's front facing camera is motorized and pops out of the top of the frame.
The front of the phone will be fully dominated by the display, while the rear side of the phone will also be covered by glass, which could pave the way for wireless charging.
The display has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. In total there will be two variations of the phone, one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and the other one with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Talking about the camera capabilities, the Oppo Find X sports a dual rear camera setup with 16MP module and 20MP secondary module.
The back, meanwhile, gets dual cameras: one 16-megapixel f/2.0 sensor, the other a 20-megapixel f/2.2 sensor.
The Find X Lamborghini Edition comes with a 3,400mAh battery and it will take 220 minutes to charge on a standard 5V 1A brick, while a common 5V 2A charger takes 135 minutes.
Another thing that makes the Find X special, aside from its design, is that it will be the first Oppo phone sold in North America and Europe.
OPPO is so confident of their 3D Facial scanning system that they've dropped the fingerprint sensor entirely.
Since Lamborghini is often associated with speed, OPPO is finally introducing its Super VOOC charging technology on this special edition premium device. OPPO also introduced Omojis, the company version of Apple's Animojis.
The Find X doesn't have a fingerprint scanner like many of its competitors in market.
First things first, Beebom reported that the phone may not even be called Find X. The documents referred to the device as N5.
The good news for the United States market is that the OPPO Find X will be the first phones from the manufacturer to be released in the USA market. Instead, you can expect to use USB-C for both power and audio.
The device comes in Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue color options with gradient finish on the edges. The Lamborghini edition of the Oppo Find X will cost buyers 1,699 Euros which roughly translates to Rs 1,33,913. Features like AI portraits and AI Scene Recognition technology are integrated.
But before we dive in into everything the Find X has to offer, do keep in mind that we will be updating this article as more information (especially the price) becomes available - ideally during OPPO's press conference later in Paris and not before.
