US President Donald Trump has warned that the United Kingdom will "probably not" get any future trade deal with the US, if it goes ahead with Prime Minister Theresa May's plan for post-Brexit ties with the European Union.
In the interview, Trump also renewed his criticism of London Mayor Sadiq Khan over last year's terror attacks in the capital, saying he had done "a bad job".
The 20ft inflatable depicting the U.S. president as a nappy-clad baby holding a mobile phone was flown above Parliament Square in London on Friday.
Trump added that he wished the paper put the "tremendous things" he said about May in its headline, but acknowledged, "That's one of those things".
After the question was posed to the United States president, the reporter appeared to be ushered out of the room at Chequers, the official residence of the PM.
Trump said he could back up his version of the story because he has a recording of the interview. On Thursday, he met with British Prime Minister Theresa May at Blenheim Palace just outside of the capital city. "If you think of it, for so many years she has represented her country, she has really never made a mistake". Maybe we'll speak to him when I get over there.
The Queen politely gave a beaming smile to her guests - despite thousands sharing their distain at his visit in a London protest - yet the couple snubbed the usual curtsy and bow which, although not protocol, is considered good manners. I am doing a great job, I can tell you, just in case you haven't noticed.
"She is not making it very clear what she actually wants at all and the White Paper, I suspect, will unravel as quickly as the Chequers cabinet agreement did". "I haven't been there in a long time".
